These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the Of Scent website or purchase products from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful personal use only.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website
• Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material
• Interfere with the website’s security or operation
• Copy or commercially use our content without permission

We may restrict or suspend access if the website is being misused.

 Products

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, fragrance notes, sizes, prices and images are accurate.

Product colours, packaging and appearance may vary slightly from photographs due to lighting, screen settings or packaging updates.

Fragrance performance and scent perception may vary depending on skin type, application, environment and personal preference.

All products are subject to availability.

Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling.

Delivery charges will be shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Payment must be authorised before an order can be accepted. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

If an obvious pricing or website error occurs, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

Placing an Order

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.

You will receive an acknowledgement email confirming that we have received your order. This acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

The contract between you and Of Scent is formed when we send confirmation that your order has been accepted or dispatched.

We may refuse or cancel an order where:

• A product is unavailable
• Payment cannot be authorised
• Delivery information is incomplete or incorrect
• An obvious pricing or product-description error has occurred
• We reasonably suspect fraud or misuse
• We are unable to deliver to the requested address

If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, we will issue a refund.

Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided during checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring your delivery details are complete and accurate before submitting the order.

Any delivery dates provided are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed, goods should normally be delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed.

Cancelling an Order

You may cancel an online order before dispatch by contacting us at hello@ofscent.co.uk.

Under UK distance-selling rules, customers generally have the right to cancel an order within 14 days after receiving the goods, without giving a reason. After notifying us, the goods must generally be returned within a further 14 days.

Products must be returned in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Your cancellation rights may not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the legal exemption applies. Do not rely on this wording alone to refuse a return; assess each case in line with consumer law.

Returns, Refunds and Faulty Products

Eligible products may be returned in accordance with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Products must be:

• As described
• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for their normal purpose

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@ofscent.co.uk.

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Discount Codes and Promotions

Discount codes and promotions:

• Must be used before their expiry date
• Cannot normally be exchanged for cash
• Cannot be applied retrospectively
• May be limited to one use per customer or order
• May exclude certain products or delivery charges

We may withdraw or amend a promotion where an error, misuse or fraud has occurred.

Intellectual Property

All Of Scent branding, product names, photographs, graphics, text, logos, designs and website content belong to or are licensed to Of Scent.

You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the website for maintenance, security or business reasons.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Breach of statutory consumer rights
• Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded

We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

We are not liable for business losses where products are purchased primarily for personal consumer use.

The version in force when you place your order will normally apply to that purchase. Any updated version will be published on this website with a revised “Last updated” date.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Any dispute may be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, or by the courts in the part of the United Kingdom where you live where applicable.
